Our Purpose
Christview Christian Church exists to worship God, Build the body of Christ, and serve one another.
What We Value
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God and
we use it as the primary resource for teaching, preaching, and daily
living. (John 17:17;
2 Timothy 3:16,17;
1 Peter 1:23,24)
Worship
Because worship is both a private and public expression of our
relationship with the living God, we strive to make our weekly
worship services vibrant, relevant, and authentic.
(Psalm 66;
Romans 12:1;
Matthew 22:37)
Home and Family
Homes and families are the heart of the church and the strength of society, so we
support loving marriages, godly parenting and teach children to honor their
father and mother.
(Exodus 20:12;
Ephesians 5:22-6:4)
View of the Church
The Church is a place for the lost and spiritually sick, as well
as the healthy, to be connected with God and with other
Christians.
(Matthew 9:12;
2 Peter 3:9;
Acts 2:44-47)
Commitment to Excellence
In view of Jesus' love for us, we are committed to excellence
in every area of ministry.
(Colossians 3:17)
Every Member a Minister
Since God has equipped all Christians with spiritual gifts for
service in the kingdom, we try to engage every Christian in
a meaningful service.
(Ephesians 4:10;
1 Peter 4:10;
Romans 12:3-8)
Witness
Because people who are connected with God have a life-giving
influence on other people and the world in which they live,
we desire to be an authentic witness for Jesus.
(Matthew 5:13-16)
Compassion
Jesus demonstrated love and concern toward others, so we
follow His example by offering comfort, help, and hope to
those in our church and community.
(James 1:27;
Matthew 5:7)
Changed Lives
Since salvation is only the beginning of a beautiful relationship
with God, we seek to grow members in our church and around
the world by making them disciples of Jesus.
(Matthew 28:19,20;
2 Corinthians 5:17;
Ephesians 2:4-10)
Spiritual Disciplines
Staying connected with God is a daily effort, so we teach the
importance of prayer, Bible study, giving, and accountability.
(Philippians 4:6;
Galatians 5:22-25;
2 Corinthians 9:7;
2 Timothy 2:15;
Psalm 119:105)
